Also, we will need to work with the Donation Committee to determine where and when items and/or money can be donated by the community. There will need to be advertisements at the donation sites so that individuals will be able to easily distinguish where exactly the donation sites are. We may use an advertisement such as the one listed below to clearly display when and where the site is.

Progress: Week 1
The Advertising Committee consists of four members: Savan Patel, Brandon Phillips, Kristina Warren, and myself. Also, we have Elijah Pope to oversee our committee. Thus far, within the Advertising Committee, we have collaborated and came up with ideas and goals for the group as well as delegated responsibilities to individuals. We have many different ways that we would like to advertise for this project to aid in its success. The first few advertisements we plan to create go as follows: posters, fliers, social media accounts, LED projections, radio announcements, and newspaper articles. Savan Patel will be working side-by-side with Brandon Phillips to design and create fliers to post around the campus and community. I, Jerrica Lindsey, will be working with Kristina Warren to design and create posters that we can hang at popular areas around campus. We are striving to get started with the fliers and posters as soon as possible. I will also be working on creating a Twitter account for the project, as well as adding information to the project's Facebook page. As a group, we plan to communicate and collaborate with other committees to complete several of our goals. We must work with the Research Committee to find out what items are needed or how much money will be needed so we can advertise this information to the community. As we find out this information, we should be able to find photographs of items to put on our advertisements to help the community get a better understanding of what the soldiers need. We may post a picture such as this to aid in the community's understanding:
Furthermore, we will need to communicate with the Liason Committee to learn how to get permission to advertise things on the LED projector in front of the Theron Montgomery Building, the campus radio station, and the Chanticleer newspaper. We plan to get this information from the other committees the very first chance we get. The information needed is crucial, considering we must have it to be able to advertise it to the campus and community. Once our committee takes the initial step to get started, the process should continue smoothly throughout the project. However, we plan to take our committee seriously and work at it tediously. We understand that the Advertisement Committee is one of the most important ones in the fact that, the more people that know about our project and what it means to donate and help the soldiers in need that are risking their lives for us, the more chance we have of our project being successful.
